Jo Blakely is a children’s illustrator and fine artist working in Toronto, Canada. She specializes in social justice, diversity, and fantasy, folktales, spiritual and multicultural themes. She’s illustrated 4 folktales and working on the fifth and have shown at the Chen Bochui Invitational Children’s Illustrator Exhibition in Shanghai, China in 2016 and have been re-invited for this year as well. Jo has donated a 5 x 7 piece of original custom commissioned art. It can be a custom request from the bidder. Perhaps a portrait of themselves in pencil or their character or a scene.

12 x 12 is a writing challenge designed to motivate you to write 12 picture book drafts in 12 consecutive months.
